Had a pleasant stay for 2 nights, glad I've chosen it. The room I was given was spotless and functional with an amazing sea-view, a laptop. An electric kettle and glassware were provided if needed😀

The hotel is fairly clean, has views of the bay. The rooms are new-fashioned and spotless here with the tea bags, nice view, a laptop. The property has a perfect and beautiful location, on the sea front. There's cool Sisim Cafe Restaurant relatively near the hotel, make desserts etc. Extremely helpful and attentive staff is the reason I will come back.

The near they are from the sea
The reception people (specially the friday and saturday afternoon) was really unfriendly .There was many light in the room when the sun started in the morning and it was not possible sleep after 6 in the morning or after lunch in the afternoon. The water system of bathroom was broken one night and we I was awaken there was 2 centimeters of water. When they decide to change my room the new one was older and worse than the previous one. When I went to pay the bill was in turkish lira, and no in euro as I booked in Booked.net and I had to pay 8% more than when I did my booking.

Location was very good with quick access to loads of dockside restaurants.
Shower entrance was challenging. The tub was deep, and you entered from the rear corner, which meant that you were likely to get a blast of cold water until you figured out the shower controls.

The location is excellent, the staff was helpful, the breakfast was quite good as well.
There is only one elevator which is not enough for the number of the rooms the hotel has - people had to wait quite a while, especially in the morning.

Location - on the waterfront in Izmir. Breakfest was ok. Staff was helpful.
Room could have been updated a bit, especially the carpets. Same for the hotel halls. Some unpleasant smells. Disco downstairs could also disrupt sleep...

The Kilim Hotel is the perfect place for an enjoyable stay in Izmir. I loved pretending to be posh while eating seafood at the Gümüş Balık restaurant, and the hotel even had a meeting room!
Couldn't find my tiara when I needed it most.
